We are pleased to share details of an upcoming event for young people with SEND who are preparing for their next steps after school. Hosted by Achieving for Children (AFC).
The event will provide an opportunity to explore options, build confidence and find out more about education, training, employment and independent living.

Who is the event for?
The event is aimed at young people who:
Are aged 16–25 and supported by an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
Live in Windsor
Are in Year 9 or above
Are beginning to think about their next steps after school.
What will be available?
Visitors will be able to:
Meet local colleges and support providers
Find out about apprenticeships and employment
Explore support for independent living
Learn more about options after school
Take part in practical activities and conversations about the future.
»» A Skills Lab will also be available, offering activities such as CV writing, interview practice and preparation for work.
»» A quiet room will be available throughout the event for anyone who needs a calm space.
Booking is required, and places are limited. Families are encouraged to book their slot in advance.
Everyone is welcome. The event aims to help young people feel informed, supported and confident about their future.
