RBWM Monthly Carers Drop-In

RBWM Adult Social Care is launching a monthly Carers Drop-In Session, providing a welcoming and informal space for unpaid carers to access information, advice and support.

The sessions are open to anyone who provides unpaid care and support to a family member, friend, partner or neighbour who could not manage without their help due to illness, disability, frailty, mental ill health or substance misuse.

What support is available?

Our Adult Social Care team can provide:

  • Information and advice for unpaid carers

  • Signposting to local support services and community organisations

  • Information about carers' rights and available support

  • Guidance on health and wellbeing support for carers

  • Information about respite and other local services

  • A Carer's Assessment

  • Help to identify support that may make a caring role easier

Do carers need to book?

No. The sessions are free to attend, and no booking is required. Carers can simply drop in and speak to a member of the RBWM Adult Social Care team.
