Partnership for the Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS)
We just want to say thank you to every parent and school who took part in the PINS projects.
The PINS project with NHS Frimley and local schools has come to a close for this financial year. The purpose of the PINS project has been to improve the experience of mainstream school for children who may have additional educational needs. NHS Frimley and Brighter Futures Together has been providing training and support for the schools. Meanwhile, SEND Voices RBWM held two engagement sessions at each school to gather parents' views and ideas which were then fed back to the school leadership teams and NHS Frimley (although this has now changed to Thames Valley ICB).
Parents at each school were asked to complete a short survey at the beginning of the partnership in the autumn term. The second survey, now open, is used to compare the results and see if there are any noticeable changes. If you are a parent at one of these three schools, please complete the survey by following the link, thank you.
Surveys are now closed.
The PINS project has run for two years and the learning from this is being used in the government's SEND Reform work. SEND Voices RBWM hopes that the partnership has made a positive impact for families and teachers at the schools who volunteered to engage with this project.
